Fun But Goes Down July 2, 2009 My friend had the GameCube version when I was little ( I was like 4 now I am 9 and a half) I bought a DS (old version) and this was the first game I bought for my DS (It came with 2 games) I was thrilled to have this. You get to do a job for a guy named Tom Nook and you have to pay mortgage. He kind of owns the town because the money you pay goes to HIM and he own a shop that gets bigger each time you buy a lot. after you do the job it starts to get good you can wander around town and go to other towns (WI-FI connection) explore the town and dig stuff up, and look through a telescope and so much more.... Then it can get boring. You have done everything but it is still a DS classic and one of my favorite games ever.
*BUY IT ALL FUN AND RELAXING PEOPLE!!!!!!* June 30, 2009 D. Sinclair WOW. WHEN I FIRST GOT THIS I WAS AMAZED AT HOW MUCH FUN I HAD IN THIS SIMPLE LITTLE WRLD..... EACH ONE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE EITHER COOL, FUNNY, WEIRD, RUDE, FREAKY, AND PATHETIC!!!!!( TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, THEY EACH HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONALITY!) THEY GOSSIP ABOUT EACH OTHER, HATE EACH OTHER AND SOMETIMES EVEN LIKE EACH OTHER...( ! ) YOU WRITE LETTERS TO THEM AND THEY WRITE BACK. IT'S SOOOOO CALM .... IT'S LIKE YOU'RE ACTUALLY THERE!!!!!!! OVERALL, I THINK IT'S A REALLY GREAT GAME. YOU WILL TOO!!!
Horrible game!! June 16, 2009 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this game because lots of people say its fun.But its REALLY boring.I played it for 20 min. and i wanted a new game. I tryed to like it too! And also if you dont save it this mole thing comes up and starts calling you a loser and other mean things. I took it back and got My Baby Girl and i liked it ALOT better.
Hefty mortgage.....but June 8, 2009 EJ (Beebe, Ar United States) a great game overall. Sometimes I will sit down and think..."I need to work on that mortgage." ahh.. so much like real life. It's a really fun game with more complexities than I knew when I ordered it. I love it and do not regret ordering it one bit. It's become one of, if not the most, played of all my ds lite games. I really recommend ..at some point consulting a guide so that you don't miss some of the neat things about it or how to make money... It's a good and pretty open ended game. It's like visiting another place that you can just stay for a while and get your mind off of things. This would also be good for just about all ages. It's worth the money because it can be played year round and...as far as I have heard and can tell..it just goes on and on ... Try it...I had tried Sims but didn't like it because I felt all I was doing was cleaning up messes, but this one is a lot more breezy and entertaining. Though I should probably try some of the new Sims to see what they are like.

I should have explored it a little bit more before buying it. I have animal crossing city folk and did not realize that wild world was practically identical.
