4 out of 5 stars one of the best mma training gloves on amazon   May 22, 2008

Most of these style gloves brag that they have the impact resistance of 16oz gloves.
Well, when you get hit by one of these, you don't think the person writing that was getting
HIT by the gloves.. They were most likely the one PUNCHING.
Cageside MMA Safety Training Gloves are the softest (I use this word lightly) of the bunch.
i would prefer to get hit by those before any gloves out there. Not that it doesn't hurt your face,
but they did take a 10% consideration about the person on the receiving end.
Throwdown training gloves are by far the most comfortable to wear, and the wrist support is nice.
There is a small amount of padding on the thumb, and back of wrist. In both,
you do not have to use a lot of force to open or close your hands, and the finger loops on
both are well made..... Not as well made as TOP-CONTENDER gloves. Those will last forever.
and WAY better then the TITLE BOXING MMA gloves... those are garbage. I bought 2 pair.
They sent one... 3 1/2 months LATER! Then, the gloves they send, the finger loops ripped out,
just trying them on... never even threw a punch with them.... junk.
... anyway... If you want to move your hands, have a comfortable fit, and not kill your partner,
then get the Cageside gloves. They are the best all around gloves.
If you want a slightly harder glove, and still like comfort, get the Throwdown Gloves. Both
will serve you well. Any other gloves on amazon, are too hard, or slightly too small. They dig
in to the area between your fingers.
I bought one pair of each glove to see what my class would like. Half of them were a waste
of money. WAY to hard to punch someone with, using any force (even the ones with 2 " padding),
and too uncomfortable for long training sessions.
